D’Prince, born Charles Enebeli in the city of Lagos to Mr. Collins
Enebeli, a business man cum musical production manager and Mrs. Patience
Enebeli, an international business tycoon. Music has always been in his
family, so he is no stranger to the music business. D’Prince is the
last child from a family of four children in which Don Jazzy is the 1st.
He hails from Delta State.
He attended Kings College Lagos for his secondary level education, then
Archbishop Michael Ramsey College & SouthBank University U.k before
deciding to follow his passion, “music”. His senior brother, Michael
Collins popularly known as DON JAZZY relocated back to Nigeria to set up
a musical label. Few artistes alongside D’Prince were signed to the
label and that was the beginning of his golden career.
While under Mo’Hits records, D’Prince released couple of hit songs such
as “Give It To Me”, “Omoba”, “Ooze” & few other great well applauded
singles including great deliveries on the widely sold-out Mo’Hits’ “CV”
album.
The hits came coming as he moved in with MAVIN Records, released his
debut album “Frenzy” in 2012 and continued churning out more hits such
as “Take Bananna”, “GoodyBag” “Gentle Man”, “Ife”, “Ojoro Cancel” and
few other songs.
His hit single “OYO” which means “On Your Own” produced by Don Jazzy
was a smash hit and was dubbed the biggest motivational single of “2014”
and with a follow up playful and dancable tune, “Oga Titus” Omoba as he
is fondly called, is set to continue his outstanding run in the music
industry.
