Miano Klasik

Oluwalami Michael .O (Born on March 7, 1992), better known as Miano Klasik is a Nigerian record producer, singer and instrumentalist. Born in Ogun State, the talented producer who has produced a lot of chart-topping songs, developed passion for music at a very tender age. A native of Ondo State, Miano Klasik was encouraged by his parents to join his church choir at a tender age when they discovered he is musically gifted. He plays bass guitar , piano, acoustic guitar and drums in the church choir and also became a vocalist. He studied music at Peter King College of music where he learnt jazz,creative music and also classical music. He played for the school band and also Ignition Band own by his lectural named Uncle Shola aka Atika which they perform in Events such as Freedom TBS in Highland Lagos,Nigeria. French Village, Eko Hotel and Suites.Playing in clubs like Ayo Bankole Art and center @32 sanusi surulere off National Stadium and so on.Some months later He further his studies at The University of Tai Solarin, Major as Creative Art Student . Miano Klasik began to learn how to make beat on his own through the help of yahama psr 1100. He thereafter met The Spirit Man ( Idowu Ezekiel also known as Jazz Man producer at Spirit Studio which he is the CEO) who groomed him with ‘reason and sonar ’. Jazz man thought him how to record, do advert and make beat using reason and sonar,fl,cubase with logic were included later on. Having understood the nitty-gritty of production, Miano Klasik joined Ho Africa Studio as Head of production and Rdemusic Empire records as their official music producer and musicologist till date. During his tenure with Ho Africa Studio formally Jedidiah Studio, he produced several adverts and a song which features all the radio station’s OAPs. Miano Klasik in 2017 created Klasik Nation,which describes his production style as "Klasik Sound". If you knew Hi-life, Afro Beat and the rest, my style is the Klasik of those genres of music.’ The genius producer who still combines singing with music production says: ‘I just don’t want to be a singer alone. I can do lot more. I have learnt a lot from Don Jazzy. I love grooming artists too. I have always been grooming artistes. I was at a point improving lots of musicians. Miano Klasik who has no doubt changed the way Nigerians listen to music, plays drums and keyboard.
